Brood collection at manchester took a little over 3 and 1/2 hours from start to finish. The metrics took about 4 hours or so. So today was a 7 and 1/2 hour day. I assume tomorrow will be as long or longer.
There are no brooders at the moment as we assumed. Although I was unable to check between 1/2 and 2/3rds of the animals because they did not gape after 45 minutes. In the future I may increase treatment time to an hour or longer. If I do this, I will have to have multiple tubs so that I can stagger the treatments. Checking and washing out the oysters took roughly 30 minutes but would be longer if I included any note taking for brooding females.
